Dr. Nasir Bashirelahi received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Louisville, Kentucky followed by postdoctoral training in Molecular Endocrinology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Bashirelahi is presently Professor of Biochemistry at the Dental and Medical Schools, University of Maryland at Baltimore. His research interest is the elucidation of the mechanism of action of steroid hormones in health and disease.
